The Royal Women’s Hospital is very grateful to Ritchies for the Community Benefit Card program.
To date, over $8,300 has been raised for The Royal Women’s Hospital, to purchase vital medical equipment, to fund groundbreaking research projects, and to train doctors, nurses and midwives, in order to provide the best health care to the many thousands of Victorian women and newborns cared for at The Royal Women’s Hospital.
Last year, 260,000 women visited the hospital, and almost 5,000 babies were born at The Women’s. Over 1,300 premature and very sick babies were cared for in The Women’s Intensive and Special Care Nurseries - the largest in Victoria.
But The Women’s is more than a maternity hospital. Our door is open to all women. We care for the very young and the very old, for women of all backgrounds and from all cultures, whether from the city or the country.
The Women’s is committed to research and learning, and is the largest provider of free public health information on all women’s health issues.
The Ritchies Community Benefit Card program represents an investment in the future for the health and happiness of all Victorian women.”
