Ritchies IGA Hastings Grant Campaign – Thank You, Hastings Community!
We’re excited to share that the 2025 Ritchies IGA Hastings Grant Campaign has wrapped up — and what an incredible response we received! A huge 53 applications came in from community organisations right across our region.
This amazing turnout shows just how many local clubs, charities and schools rely on volunteers and how important financial support is to keep their essential services running. From defibrillators and training gear to laptops, fridges, and everyday resources — these small items make a big difference.
Ritchies Community Development Manager, Tim Walker, said:
“It was incredible to receive so many applications… This year’s strong participation confirms how vital such funding opportunities are for local groups that rely heavily on volunteers and limited fundraising.”
Congratulations to our three $2,000 grant recipients:
• Wauchope Bonny Hills Surf Life Saving Club
• Telegraph Point Public School
• Wauchope Soccer Club
But that’s not all…
To recognise the importance of every project submitted, Ritchies is also providing IGA gift cards to the remaining 50 applicants.
Tim added:
“Choosing just three was incredibly difficult, so we wanted to extend our support to every group… We hope $7,000 in IGA gift cards helps raise additional funds or provides a welcome boost — especially at Christmas.”
