RITCHIES LOYALTY PUBLIC STATEMENT

Ritchies recently became aware that some of our loyalty program customer information held by a third-party supplier had not been stored in line with our data security protocols. 

This potentially resulted in unauthorised access to some basic contact information and dates of birth relating to a limited number of our loyalty program customers.  No bank or credit card details are involved in this incident.

We have since conducted an investigation to understand the extent of the incident and are contacting all individual loyalty program customers who may have been affected. 

If you have not received an email from Ritchies by 12 February in relation to this incident, we can assure you that we have not identified your personal information as having been impacted. 

We wish to assure our customers that this incident has impacted our third-party IT supplier only.  Ritchies’ systems remain secure.

Ritchies has worked with its third-party supplier and secured the storage of this information. The potentially impacted data is no longer accessible. Ritchies has also informed the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) of the incident. 

Our focus is now directed to providing our impacted customers with the necessary support and guidance.
