Terms and conditions
By entering the Ritchies Kettle promotion, you agree to the following conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. Entry into the competition is by way of
a) Shopping at Ritchies Supermarket during the promotional period and.
b) To be eligible to enter individuals must purchase any 2 Kettle Varieties in the one transaction in-store at any participating Ritchies during the promotional period.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd ABN (61 005 041 814) and their associated agencies and companies, and related bodies corporate are not eligible to win.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Ritchies Kettle promotion commences on Wednesday 11th February 2026 at 7.00 am (AEST) and concludes Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 21.00 (AEST). To be eligible to enter individuals must purchase any 2 x Kettle Chips 150-165g, Kettle Multipack 92g Varieties in the one transaction in-store at any participating Ritchies during the promotional period, scan the QR code or visit the website https://www.ritchies.com.au/Snackbrands-consumer-promotion & complete the online entry form no later than Tuesday 10th March 2026 at 21.00 (AEST). Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
3.2 Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per transaction receipt; (b) only one entry permitted per person/email per day; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements below.
Entrants can only enter in their own individual capacity. Entering under a false name/s may invalidate all entries. Multiple entries under different names may also invalidate all entries at the Promoter’s discretion. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the Promotion is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Transaction regardless of the number of Eligible Products purchased in that Qualifying Transaction; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. For removal of doubt a receipt can only be used once to enter the promotion. Any sharing or multiple use of a receipt will deem all entries using the receipt as invalid.
3.3 Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the retailer, products purchased, transaction total and that the Eligible Purchase was made during the Purchase Period but prior to entry. Winners drawn at random using a computerised draw.
4. PRIZE WINNER
a) 1 x winner will receive a $10,000 holiday e -Gift Voucher.
Total Prize Pool Value = $10,000 incl GST.
The prize draw will take place at Ritchies Supermarkets Head Office (1095 Frankston Dandenong Road, Carrum Downs, Victoria 3201) on 13/03/2026.
The winners will be notified by email & Phone within two (2) business days of draw. The winners first initial, last name and postcode will be published online at www.ritchies.com.au.
PRIZE CONDITIONS
- Additional options and all ancillary costs are the responsibility of the major prize winner. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the major prize winner. No Prizes will be provided by the Promoter to the Winner unless they comply with these Terms and Conditions. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take / redeem a prize (or an element of a prize) at / by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited. In case of forfeit, the Promoter will reselect a different Eligible Entrant to be the Winner by the same means specified in section. This process will continue either until the Prize is claimed or all the valid entries are exhausted, whichever occurs first. Prize cannot be transferred
- If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable, unless otherwise specified.
· Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prizes are not included. Any unused balance of a gift card or voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the gift card or voucher are subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the gift card or voucher.
· All details on how to access the prize will be sent to the winner once they have formally acknowledged the prize. Risk of loss or damage to the prize passes to the winner upon delivery.
· The Promoter may draw reserve winners in case of ineligible or invalid entries.
- The Promoter will ensure each draw is open for public scrutiny and anyone may witness the draw on request. The winner of a drawn prize is determined by chance.
In accepting the prize, the Winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the Winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
1. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
2. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAWS
Subject to any written direction, any unclaimed prize draw from all non-winning entries will take place on 07/04/2026 at Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd Head office, 10/1095 Frankston Dandenong Rd, Carrum Downs, VIC 3201 at 10:00am (AEST).
3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
4. It is a condition of accepting any of the prizes that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.
5. It is a condition of accepting any of the prizes that the Winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
6 NO LIABILITY
a. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
b. Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies, and related bodies corporate will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail including electronic mail. And further will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a) During the draw;
b) In the participation in any prize;
c) As a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail, telephone or internet malfunction;
d) Due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compare, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
e) Arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, mobile or internet communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
c. Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies, and related bodies corporate assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
d. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, Ritchies Stores Pty Ltd reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
7.0 General
7.1 The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at www.ritchies.com.au/privacy1. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter will not disclose entrant’s personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
