Di Rothacker – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

When did you join Ritchies?  

I joined Ritchies in April 2021 and the CFO

Tell us about your career path. 

 I completed my Bachelor of Business, majoring in accounting, with a minor in IT and legal.  I then worked in Chartered Accounting and completed my Chartered Accounting qualification, early in my career.  After working in Chartered Accounting, I moved into industry, for businesses which focused on property, construction, energy, and retail.  I have had an interesting career with a lot of variety.  Best of all, I have met some fabulous people over the time.

What do you enjoy most about working for Ritchies?  

The people, culture and variety of work.  Ritchies definitely has the ‘friendliest team’ and I enjoy how the work is so different from one day to the next.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?  

You don’t find opportunities, you create them.

Where is your favourite destination in the world, or dream to visit?   

 France, Provence (particularly Avignon).  I love it’s beautiful cities and country regions, arts, restaurants, history, wine and stunning architecture.

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you 

I love art and flower arranging when I have time, and have been fortunate to have arranged the flowers for a number of friend’s weddings / events over the years.
