Melissa Patterson – NSW Deli & Bakery Supervisor  

When did you join Ritchies?   I joined the Ritchies team in 2005 at the New Lambton store

What do you do at Ritchies?  I’m the NSW Deli/ Bakery Supervisor. 

Tell us about your career path. I started my career at Ritchies as a Deli/Bakery Manager at the New Lambton store and moved around numerous stores throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. I then took on a role helping the Deli Supervisor at the time with       the training and development of the NSW Deli team. About 5 years ago my current role became available and I jumped at the opportunity to apply. I was fortunate to be the successful applicant 😊

What is a favourite quote?  “Time is just a number, Life is what you do with it.”

What sport are you most passionate about?  I have been a very active person from a young age and have played a lot of different sports over the years. The 2 sports that have stuck with me over the years are playing Netball and Dancing. I prefer to play sport rather then watc

Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you – My love for dance gave me the opportunity to perform in numerous local Cabaret theatre shows for many years, putting my years of training in Ballet and Tap Dancing to good use. I got to wear some amazing costumes covered in Sequins and Feathers
