Apricot chicken wings
Apricot chicken wings are perfect for easy entertaining or a lazy dinner. Just 10 minutes to prepare, then into the oven. Finger food was never easier!

- 1kg chicken wingg
- 1 285g jar St Dalfour apricot fruit spread
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 large cloves garlic crushed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- to serve
- 3 tablespoons sour cream or natural yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons samba! oelek or chilli sauce
- 1 small crushed garlic clove
- sea salt
- assorted raw vegetable cut in sticks
Method
apricot chicken wings method Cut the tips off the wings and chop them in half. Place in a large freezer bag and add the apricot spread, garlic, salt and olive oil. Seal the bag and massage the marinade through the wings. Marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight . Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper and spread the wings in a single layer. Bake for 30-40 minutes turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through. While the chickens cooking make the sauce by simply mixing the sour cream, chilli and garlic and seasoning with salt. Serve the wings hot with raw vegetable batons.
