Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 kg pork cutlets, washed and dried, set aside in a bowl
    • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 4 tbsp soy sauce (light or dark soy, your choice)
    • 2 tsp Lainey’s chilli oil (original, vegan, or extra hot, your preference)
    • 1 tsp crushed garlic
    • 3 tbsp minced lemongrass

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork with cracked black pepper, crushed garlic, minced lemongrass, sesame oil, soy sauce, and Lainey’s chilli oil.
  2. Using your hands or tongs, evenly coat the pork with the marinade mixture. Ensure that the pork is well covered. Marinate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight for deeper flavour.
  3. Preheat a hot plate or barbecue grill. Avoid overcooking the pork to prevent drying out. Continuously baste the pork with the marinade during cooking.
  4. Grill each side of the pork for about 3 minutes, or until cooked through but still juicy.

Serving Suggestions: Serve the marinated pork cutlets with a light garden salad or coleslaw for a refreshing contrast to the spicy flavours. Enjoy!
