Sesame Tahini Fudge Bites

These fudgy bites make a lovely gift idea for your foodie friends.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sesame seeds
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 cup tahini

Method

Line a 22-centimetre cake tin with baking paper. Sprinkle half the sesame seeds over the baking paper, distributing evenly.

Add coconut sugar and water to a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and quickly stir in cardamom and tahini.

Pour mixture into the cake tin and sprinkle the top with the remaining sesame seeds.

Refrigerate for 10 minutes, then remove and cut into bite-sized pieces that can be wrapped for gifting.
